Lebanese media and security sources reported Israeli tank fire in six areas within the border zone on Thursday morning. These incidents came alongside earlier claims that Israeli forces had shelled five towns and agricultural fields in southern Lebanon, injuring at least two people.
Israeli officials have denied targeting civilians, maintaining that the movement of vehicles posed a security threat and constituted a ceasefire violation.
